Adam Haslett
A tense bit of fiction, Haslett’s book seems almost methodical as it looks into the unrelated lives of people living in modern times.
A great book, maybe I just haven’t read any fiction in awhile. I didn’t really look into it more then I would have a romance novel – and it seemed while reading it to be a sort of sick romance with the alone and outcast.
A solitary cadre of people, mental patients and homosexuals for the most part, lives are narrated and chillingly glorified by Haslett.
