    Back Pain and I

Today I went to the chiropractor to find out what was wrong with my back. The news I got was fairly bad, and plus I was x-rayed in my lower back with no, what would a doctor call it, “scrotum protection.”

I was at the chiropractor today to see about the back pain that I’ve been having for almost a month now – and boy did I wish that all I have been feeling was just a little tweak somewhere that they could crack out of me.

But it looks much more serious then that – either the s bone at the bottom of my spine is misaligned (a small case of lumbar scoliosis) or I have a fracture at the growth plate of my left S.I. Joint.

Now being just introduced to this today, and then parading over to a local medical center to get some x-rays done, I haven’t really had a chance to research either of the two conditions. But I really hope that they are easily solved – and also that I can get back into playing both soccer and tennis by the time spring rolls around.

And when you have x-ray’s taken, shouldn’t you get a lead sheet or something to protect the boys? Paraphrase from one of the nurses while I layed uncomfortably under a pumpkin sized nuclear reactor:

I don’t think we should do too many more – he’s got a young beanie...

And no, I wans’t comfortable with it being called a beanie, either.
