I lent my bike out for a quick ride this weekend, and it came back making this goofy noise between a click and a squeak. It bothered me the entire way to school, and just kept getting worse on the way back. I can’t figure out what it could be, but it’s right under the seat either on the pedals or front gears or shifters…
Also, people are actually starting to bike around the city! I’ve been biking here and there (mostly to school) since march, when it was cold out. Now come june, its way too hot to bike anywhere without sweating buckets – but for some reason the masses take to the saddle.
Maybe I just work to hard on my bike, but I could handle a late winter Minnesota day just fine with a polar-fleece, jeans, hat and mittens. The effort and body heat expended in biking kept my temperature right, but now there isn’t much to do to keep cool.
