How many americans are there with days named after them, anyway? Presidents day is mostly about Washington and Lincoln. Labor Day oddly enough comes out of those goddamn socialist wishes for reasonable wages and the 8 hour workday. Fuck Columbus, he was the biggest asshole. That leaves Veterans and Memorial days. MLK is the only guy with his own day.
He deserves it.
What is needed is a realization that power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic. Power at its best is love implementing the demands of justice, and justice at its best is power correcting everything that stands against love.
This is leading a few extremists today to advocate for Negroes the same destructive and conscienceless power that they have justly abhorred in whites. It is precisely this collision of immoral power with powerless morality which constitutes the major crisis of our times.
And I say to you, I have also decided to stick to love. For I know that love is ultimately the only answer to mankind’s problems. And I’m going to talk about it everywhere I go. I know it isn’t popular to talk about it in some circles today. I’m not talking about emotional bosh when I talk about love, I’m talking about a strong, demanding love. And I have seen too much hate.
Difficult and painful as it is, we must walk on in the days ahead with an audacious faith in the future.

Martin Luther King was a commie! Thats the pretense used by the FBI to tap all of his phones and constantly spy on him, least. And they definetly at least had plans to get him killled. Whether or not the federal government was actually involved in his assassination, who knows.

I don’t keep track too well, but I had a meter installed that put it at around 1,000 pageviews per week, 500 visitors.
I’ve uninstalled it since, because I don’t really care. (Try looking at the site with IE, I’d bet most anyone who does would get mad and leave right away). I’m not sure I want to be all over the place, I’d get shy.
